U.S. Energy Development Corporation (U.S. Energy), an exploration & production (E&P) firm which provides direct investments in energy, welcomes Josh Dazey and Cissy Shea to its growing team. Mr. Dazey joins as U.S. Energy’s general counsel and corporate secretary and Mrs. Shea fills the human resources manager position.

As General Counsel, Dazey will be responsible for leading and managing strategic transactions as well as advising the firm on all legal matters. He brings extensive experience to U.S. Energy, having served most recently as Executive Vice President-Legal and Corporate Secretary of Approach Resources Inc. and Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. He is certified by the State Bar of Texas and graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C.

As Human Resources Manager, Shea will be responsible for creating and implementing policies, processes, and guidelines to enhance U.S. Energy’s professional development programs, staffing and training, and employee engagement. In addition, she will manage the administration of the firm’s compensation and benefits. With more than 18 years of human resources experience, she joins U.S. Energy after spending the past 10 years with Lilis Energy and DW Energy Group. She graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management, and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management’s Fort Worth chapter.
