As the future of Ybor City takes shape with a new 2020 vision plan, Ronald Christaldi, a partner with the law firm Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, will serve on the Ybor City Development Corporation Board of Directors.

The Ybor City Development Corporation (YCDC) is a division of the City of Tampa's Economic & Urban Development Department. YCDC facilitates the development, redevelopment, economic revitalization and general improvement of the Ybor City's Historic District, its 2 Community Redevelopment Areas (CRAs) and surrounding community.
Just months ago, the YCDC partnered with the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission to draft a new Ybor Vision 2020 plan with community input. The five-year action plan focuses upon market analysis, urban planning, transportation, and infrastructure.
The YCDC Board serves as the official Community Advisory Committee to the City of Tampa and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) on issues and policies affecting Ybor City. Christaldi will serve a two-year term ending September 30, 2021.
In addition to being a partner at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, Christaldi is also serves on the firm’s management committee and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm’s advisory practice Shumaker Advisors Florida LLC. He also has served in a variety of organizations, including as past chair of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and past chair for the Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and Arts.
