The San Diego ACC chapter has planned its eleventh Annual Black & White Ball on Saturday, March 3, with a reception and silent auction beginning at 6:00 p.m. and dinner and live auction starting at 7:30 p.m. This evening of dancing and casino games will keep the more than 700 expected attendees well entertained in the Elizabeth Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego.
The Black & White Ball has quickly become a premier social event for the San Diego legal community, providing in-house counsel and the firms that support them an opportunity to socialize with one another while raising money in support of a deserving local charity. This year, the chapter has selected the San Diego Children’s Choir (SDCC) as the beneficiary of this important fundraising effort, with a goal of raising $50,000 for the group. The SDCC believes that all children should have the opportunity for artistic and personal growth through music. Its mission is to provide the highest quality of music education and performance experience, fostering an awareness of cultural diversity and inspiring a lifelong love of music to as many children as possible, including underserved children — those with few opportunities for music in their lives.
The Black & White Ball, as well as the San Diego chapter itself, is heavily underwritten by a number of large and small San Diego law firms, as well as a handful of legal industry service providers.
