The honorees included our 2019 Pro Bono Champions, the Mastercard Law, Franchise & Integrity team and Samir A. Gandhi, Managing Partner at the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP. To see the impact of some of their work with the Partnership, view brief videos of Samir Gandhi here and Mastercard here, which highlight three of the nonprofit clients we are fortunate to represent.
It takes a tremendous amount of effort on the part of so many to put together a successful event, and we couldn't have done it without every single one of you. The entire Pro Bono Partnership team is grateful to our Dinner Chairs, John L. Golden, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Athene Holding Ltd., and
Tim Murphy, General Counsel at Mastercard for their dedication to the Partnership's mission and to fostering a culture of pro bono at their organizations. Thank you to the Gala Committee, led by Eric Cohen, the Steering Committee, and our tireless Board of Directors.
Special thanks and gratitude to our nonprofit clients who so poignantly reminded everyone of why we do this work. Specifically, thanks to Paul Cohen, Executive Director of Magical Healing, who shared the magic of his organization at our VIP Reception and to Jodi O'Donnell-Ames, Founder of Hope Loves Company, who inspired guests with her story of identifying a need, and how pro bono services helped her nonprofit vision become a reality that serves children whose loved ones are battling ALS.
It was truly a spectacular evening, and one that I am so proud to have been a part of. Thank you again for your support of Pro Bono Partnership and our mission to provide free legal services to tristate-area nonprofits.
