McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC welcomes experienced litigation attorney, William Boak, to its labor & employment practice group.
Bill has represented employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the National Labor Relations Board, and in private arbitration. He has defended employers against claims of discrimination, wage and hour law violations, and breach of contract. He has represented employers in labor disputes, including defending against unfair labor practice charges. Bill has also handled matters to enforce non-compete agreements and other restrictive covenants.
In addition to labor and employment, Bill’s experience includes general commercial litigation in which he represented companies and individuals in federal and state courts.
Bill earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law, an M.B.A. from Rutgers Business School and an undergraduate degree from Temple University. He was also a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas I. Vanaskie of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
