With a focus on growth in its California offices, Lewis Roca announced Kirk C. Jenkins has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group as a Partner in San Francisco.
Jenkins, a distinguished appellate lawyer with nearly 40 years of experience, has built a notable reputation in high-stakes litigation across diverse legal areas. His experience spans both state and federal appellate courts, with a particular emphasis on federal preemption cases and constitutional law. Jenkins is adept at navigating the complex interaction between state and federal laws, ensuring robust defense strategies for his clients.
His extensive background includes handling intricate matters such as groundwater contamination, asbestos exposure, electrocution injuries, and issues related to failure to warn and design defects. Jenkins is highly skilled in crafting and arguing complex motions and provides critical leadership in litigation strategy from trial through appeals. His deep understanding of liability law, consumer class action processes, and antitrust law, coupled with his commitment to excellence, has solidified his reputation as a leading figure in appellate law.

Jenkins earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
