Kelly Terribile Joins K&L Gates LLP as Partner

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Kelly Terribile as a partner in its Corporate practice. She joins the firm’s Wilmington office from Greenberg Traurig LLP.

Terribile has extensive experience advising on complex transactions involving Delaware corporations from inception to exit, including corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.

Having spent her entire legal career in Wilmington, Terribile uses her “chapter and verse” knowledge of Delaware corporate law towards context-specific solutions to complicated Delaware legal issues.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have someone as respected and knowledgeable as Kelly join our office to continue our ability to represent clients from every corner of our global footprint in all aspects of their Delaware needs,” said Scott Waxman, managing partner of K&L Gates’ Wilmington office.

Terribile’s arrival follows nearly two dozen partners joining K&L Gates’ global Corporate practice since the beginning of 2023, including Daniel Fayock in Pittsburgh, Divesh Patel, Stuart Broadfoot, and Naomi Philp in Sydney, Khilen Devani and Carl Hinze in Brisbane, Luke Paterson in Perth, Mike Gorback in Palo Alto, Mattias Luukkonen in Orange County, Virginia Peters in Dallas, David Kuo, Meraj Noor, and Sarah Park in Singapore, Naoki Kawada in Los Angeles, and Paul Haswell in Hong Kong. Last year, K&L Gates’ Pittsburgh office also welcomed a team of seven corporate and private equity partners.

Rick Giovannelli, a leader of K&L Gates’ global Corporate practice, commented: “Kelly is a seasoned and polished lawyer on all things relating to the Delaware General Corporation Law for both public and private corporations. K&L Gates is one of a very few global law firms to have a Delaware office and our clients will benefit greatly from Kelly's wealth of knowledge on their most complex governance and related issues.”

K&L Gates’ Corporate practice is one of the most substantial in the legal industry, with more than 500 lawyers in offices on five continents assisting clients in the structuring, financing, and completion of domestic, international, and cross-border transactions. The group serves as counsel to a broad array of Global 500, Fortune 100, FTSE 100 corporations, privately held and venture-backed companies, partnerships, private equity firms, other investment funds, management groups, and entrepreneurs, helping to earn K&L Gates the distinction of Corporate “Law Firm of the Year” in Best Lawyers’ “Best Law Firms” report two of the last three years.
