Jordan Leu Joins King & Spalding as Partner

King & Spalding announced today that litigator Jordan Leu has joined the firm as a partner in its Business Litigation practice group. Leu is based in the firm’s Dallas office, which it launched in February 2024.

Leu is an experienced litigator who is regularly called on to handle complex commercial and bankruptcy disputes. His wide range of experience in state and federal courts and in arbitration includes representing energy companies, private equity firms, and financial institutions in a variety of commercial disputes; representing debtors, creditors, and other parties in litigation related to financial restructurings and bankruptcy; and defending lawyers and law firms in professional liability cases.

“Jordan is a first-chair trial lawyer with an impressive track record of success in bankruptcy litigation as well as general commercial disputes, especially in the energy and financial sectors – a great mix of skills and experience that will help us grow our Business Litigation practice and our Dallas office,” said Jessica Corley, co-leader of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. “Jordan’s entrepreneurial drive and his enthusiasm for helping us expand in Dallas and beyond brings great energy to our team.”

Leu joins King & Spalding from Vinson & Elkins, where he was a partner. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, cum laude, and his B.A. in Government, with highest honors, from The University of Texas at Austin.

“I am thrilled to join King & Spalding and to be part of its growth story in Dallas and firm-wide,” said Leu. “The firm’s platform gives me a great opportunity to expand my bankruptcy litigation and commercial disputes practice, and the prospect of building alongside my new colleagues here in Dallas is very exciting.”

King & Spalding opened its office in Dallas in February, anchored by partners including nationally renowned trial lawyer Veronica Moyé and global head of the firm’s Antitrust and Consumer Protection practice Sean Royall. The Dallas office is the firm’s 24th office globally, 11th in the U.S., and third in Texas, where the firm has had a Houston office since 1995 and an Austin office since 2008.
