FTI Consulting, Inc. announced that the Technology segment has appointed Stuart Craft as a Managing Director in its E-Discovery Consulting & Services practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”).
Mr. Craft, who is based in London, brings more than a decade of experience designing and implementing bespoke technical solutions to solve business challenges in legal discovery and investigations. He specialises in handling a wide range of data types and ensuring they are collected, processed, reviewed and produced in an accurate, clear and defensible manner. Mr. Craft supports clients at every phase of their e-discovery and investigations matters, including serving as an expert witness. He also brings deep software development experience. Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Craft served as Technical Director at Anexsys, a U.K.-based litigation support firm.
“We’ve seen unprecedented growth in demand for our e-discovery practice over the last year, as organisations grapple with a steady uptick in the frequency and scope of disputes and investigations, alongside new challenges relating to emerging data sources,” said Jon Chan, a Senior Managing Director within FTI Technology’s E-Discovery Consulting & Services practice in EMEA. “Our team of e-discovery, emerging data and analytics experts are at the forefront of developing solutions that provide clients with rapid insight into their data and the most efficient resolution possible for their matters. Stuart brings exceptional software development and e-discovery experience to our team and we welcome his innovation and expertise as our practice continues to expand.”
David Grant, a Senior Managing Director within FTI Technology and the E-Discovery Consulting & Services practice leader, added, “We’re beginning to see effects of prolonged remote working — such as widely dispersed data and significantly increased volume of emerging data sources — reach a critical point in e-discovery and investigations. This year will bring advances in technology and workflow improvements to deal with the array of new data challenges, and Stuart will be a key contributor to FTI Technology’s leadership on this front.”
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Craft said, “FTI Technology is in a great position to drive new innovations in the e-discovery and investigations space. I look forward to collaborating with our team of experts to create custom solutions that address our clients’ most pressing issues.”
