DLA Piper has advised Starwood Capital Group, a US investment firm, on the sale of Hotel Las Dalias, a four-star establishment with 429 rooms, located in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. The transaction has been carried out with the French hotel brand Covivio, through its subsidiary Covivio Hotels.
DLA Piper has advised Starwood on several investment and financing transactions in Spain over recent years.
The DLA Piper team provided legal advice on urban planning and real estate issues. The transaction was led by Orson Alcocer, Head of the department , together with Ángel Maestro, legal director, and associates Natalia Ruigómez and Julia Fernández.
According to Orson Alcocer: ‘We are proud to have advised, once again, a market leader like Starwood on this operation, which reflects the strength of the hotel sector and its attractiveness to international investors’.
