Barnes & Thornburg Welcomes New Attorneys and Legal Professionals

Barnes & Thornburg has added environmental, litigation, labor and employment, corporate, real estate, and government services and finance attorneys and legal professionals to its Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Delaware, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York and South Bend offices.

Emily Dory, an associate in the Chicago office, concentrates her practice on defending product liability, professional liability and mass tort litigation in complex matters around the country. A staunch advocate for her clients, Emily is committed to helping clients navigate multifaceted litigation matters. She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2016 and her B.S. and B.A. from the University of Arizona in 2013.

An associate in the Columbus office, Natalie Engel focuses her practice on affordable housing and community development matters involving low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits and historic rehabilitation tax credits. Natalie also advises clients on a range of other real estate and commercial finance matters. She earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2022 and her B.S. and B.S.W. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018.

A counsel in the New York office, Russell Gorkin focuses on helping clients successfully resolve their most complex and high-stakes disputes, including contract disputes and related business torts, and bankruptcy-related matters. Russell earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2012 and his B.S. from Cornell University in 2005.

Timothy Junk, an of counsel in the Indianapolis office, brings four decades of environmental and bankruptcy litigation experience, having served six successive Indiana attorneys general as deputy attorney general. He advises clients on Superfund matters and sophisticated environmental litigation. Tim earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1984 and his B.A. from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1981.

An associate in the Minneapolis office, Erin Killeen is passionate about connecting with her clients and working to advance their business objectives. Her practice focuses on bond financing for corporate, nonprofit and governmental organizations. Erin earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2019 and her B.A. from The Ohio State University in 2015.

Christopher Lenz, a paralegal in the South Bend office, offers more than 15 years of experience in claims advisory and dispute resolution. His strong analytical skills and attention to detail make him a valuable resource on the litigation team. Christopher earned his B.A. from Western Michigan University in 1996 and his A.A. from Lake Michigan College in 1993.

As manager of unclaimed property in the Delaware office, Conor McGuffin utilizes his background in auditing and unclaimed property services to support clients and attorneys in resolving unclaimed property matters. He earned his B.B.A. in accounting from Temple University in 2018.

Drew Morgan, an immigration coordinator in the South Bend office, assists with visa and other immigration application processes and procedures. He works closely with firm attorneys and paralegals on immigration and global mobility matters. Drew earned his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 2023.
