Ann Coffin, Texas Energy Lawyer, Joins Baker Botts

Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology, and life sciences law firm announced today the addition of Ann Coffin as a partner in its Global Projects practice in Austin.

Ms. Coffin, a renowned expert in energy law, with a particular focus on electric, gas, and water utilities, joins Baker Botts after serving as a founding partner at Coffin Renner L.L.P. With over three decades of experience in Texas’ regulatory and litigation fields, with a distinguished career that includes leadership roles at the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the Railroad Commission of Texas. Her practice spans a wide range of administrative matters, including utility rate change applications, transactional approval proceedings, and applications for Certificates of Convenience and Necessity (CCN).
