ACC, Alliance Partner Launch Corporate Records Management Forum

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and Jordan Lawrence Group have announced the Best Practices Forum for enforced records management as part of the firm's alliance with ACC.

The Best Practices Forum is designed to help companies rapidly develop and enforce records management programs that ensure companies are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, the SEC and other regulatory requirements. ACC members receive exclusive benefits including:

Up to a 40 percent discount on normal program pricing;

The opportunity to recoup their program investment through an innovative program;

Exclusive benchmarking and comparatives that cover all the primary components of corporate records management, including volumes, platforms and costing data. Comparatives will be developed for components as wide-ranging as document imaging, offsite records volumes and costs, e-mail controls and issues, archiving of digital and electronic records and other variables;

A customized and fully enforced records management program that covers all record types across all records platforms.

The Forums are industry-specific and currently include energy and utilities, financial services and technology. The initial round of Forums will begin in January and will be completed within seven months of launch. Additional industries will be launched in the second quarter of 2004.
