The Current Reality of GenAI in eDiscovery (CLE-Eligible)

DATE & TIME

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. ET

Event Details

Sometimes it seems like the hype never stops – "eliminate first pass review with our genAI," and "find the answers and key supporting documents with a single prompt." The promise is real and although we may not have fully realized its promise just yet, the journey towards those advancements is underway.

Join our OpenText Team as we discuss the current status of the application of genAI to the eDiscovery field for review and document investigation. Understand what you can expect today, and what we can look forward to in the future. Some of the topics that we will cover include:

  • The basics of the operation of genAI in eDiscovery, including RAG (retrieval augmented generation), management of the context window, how an LLM actually operates, and general document and data flow
  • Security implications, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and training the LLM
  • Implementation, workflows, limitations and concerns
  • What might be on the horizon

Speakers:

  • Tracy Drynan, Principal Consultant, OpenText
  • Thomas Gricks, Senior Principal Consultant, OpenText
  • Ole Olson, Principal Consultant, Legal Tech Cloud Services, OpenText
